Myola is an Aboriginal word meaning ‘place of knowledge’ or ‘meet and learn.’ The Myola Club began in 1921 to coach a group of women in the art of speech making and chairing meetings. In 1935 they moved into their own building at 6 Stirling Road Claremont.
